Then we got USA and Russia.

And to be on a serious note, I spawned an idea. Would it be possible for a monorail to be built between USA and China (Japan included, too) that can be used possibly for transportation or moving supplies and resources? Boy would that be a nice relief from gasoline. We could use the ocean currents for power as well as electricity. And wind. Solar energy. All the naturals, yada yada..

Let's see... And you would want to spend billions upon billions upon billions of dollars to do something like that? Not to mention the fact that we have to rely on bulky machines to do the construction (due to how deep the ocean really is)? Although that suggestion is good in theory, in principle, a lot of stuff would need to happen before it became reality.

As for the United States teaming up with Russia? Hah. Hah. Hah. Did I forget to mention hah?

Your idea is good, but Russia taking over the Eastern Hemisphere? Thats kind of funny. United Kingdom, Germany, Finland, and France would just own them completely.
I could see the United States take over the Western Hemisphere using Hawaii as an outpost for gasoline and electricity, but once we take over the Western Hemisphere, the Europeans would end all relations with us and that would cause a great economic disaster for the United States. Thats pretty much the only weakness the United States has, but everyone knows this and could easily take advantage which isn't good for the States.

I'd rather we sell all of our liberals to china so they'll reduce our national debt. Plus they'll be happy because they like socialist states. We can throw all the movie production studios in hollywood as a deal sweetener.

Seriously though, no I don't want the world ruled by one or two people. Both the US and Russia have their problems and are lucky they are able to rule as it is now.

well since the Bush administration already pissed away trillions at this useless Iraq war I figure something like this would be more acceptable, it would be very useful for ages to come.
